Harrison County Health Department Preparing List of Medical Equipment in Case of Emergency

BETHANY, MO – Harrison County residents who depend on life-sustaining medical equipment that functions on electricity are being invited to complete a form to list that equipment with the Harrison County Health Department in case of an emergency.

The Emergency Support Function Group is working to better medical and public health response after the June 29th weather event. Information provided by county residents will be shared with emergency personnel if an extended power outage is expected. Crews will be able to check on residents and provide assistance if necessary.

Medical equipment that requires electricity can be listed by scanning a QR code that can be found on Harrison County Health Department’s Facebook page, by calling the health department at 660-425-6324 or by clicking HERE.
