Icy Roads Result in Accident on I-35 North of Eagleville

An accident on I-35 north of Eagleville injured a Joplin teen.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 19-year old Logan Myers of Joplin and 56-year old Stephen Todd of Indianoloa, Iowa were both northbound. Troopers say Myers was traveling too fast for road conditions. His vehicle spun out of control on the icy roadway. He came to rest in the interstate, where he vehicle was struck by Todd.

Myers was taken to Harrison County Community Hospital with minor injuries.

The accident took place around 6 pm on Saturday.
