Illinois Fugitive Arrested on Driving Charges in Clinton County

An Illinois man was arrested on multiple driving charges, and being an out-of-state fugitive, Wednesday afternoon in Clinton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 52-year-old Rickey O. West was arrested on preliminary charges of speeding, not having a valid license, and not wearing a seat belt.
Troopers say West also had an outstanding felony warrant from Cook County, Illinois for assault.
He was taken to the Clinton County Jail to be held without bond.
