Illinois Woman Injured in Atchison County Crash Tuesday

A Quincy, Illinois, woman suffered injuries in an Atchison County crash Tuesday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 1:45 Tuesday afternoon on I-29, 13 miles north of Rock Port, as 70-year-old Paula A. Allison drove southbound.

Troopers say Allison struck the towed unit of a southbound Kenworth driven by 42-year-old Bernie, Missouri resident Evan T. Vessell.

Allison suffered minor injuries and sought treatment in Hamburg, Iowa.

Authorities say all involved wore seat belts at the time of the crash.
