Kansas Man Arrested on Drug, Firearms, and Other Charges

A Paola, Kansas man was arrested Saturday evening in Daviess County on seven charges including methamphetamine and firearms possession.
Troop H of the Highway Patrol says Paola resident Patrick C. Vanlerberg was arrested at 6:20 P.M. Saturday in Daviess County on charges of possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a firearm, a Buchanan County warrant for vision reducing materials applied to a windshield, speeding, failing to display plates on a motor vehicle, not having insurance and not having a motorcycle endorsement.
Vanlerberg was booked into the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail on a 24-hour hold to await the filing of formal charges.
