(MISSOURINET) – Line item vetoes are on the horizon in the Missouri Legislature’s state budget proposal. Governor Mike Parson says he’s still thumbing through the 49-billion-dollar plan but he’s getting his veto pen ready…
The proposal would designate 2.8-billion-dollars to widen I-70 to at least three lanes in both directions from the St. Louis to Kansas City areas. It would also dole out 3.6-billion in state aid to schools as well as boost pay for workers caring for the developmentally disabled.
