Man Accused of Murder Sentenced in Buchanan County

The man accused of murder in Buchanan County has been sentenced.
A resident of St. Joseph, Nicholas D. Piper was charged with second-degree murder and entered a guilty plea.
He has been sentenced to 30 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections and has 30 days to pay fines and court costs.
