Man from Excelsior Springs Allegedly Commits Felonies while Armed

A man from Excelsior Springs was arrested Wednesday evening on felony charges.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, 21-year-old Eric L. Harris was arrested just before 8 pm in Platte County.
He was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm, endangering the welfare of a child, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful use of a firearm, and felony receiving stolen property. The suspect also had a misdemeanor warrant from Buchanan County.
Also arrested was 22-year-old Damone L. Jackson of Kansas City for identical charges. He had a felony warrant from Cass County.
Both were booked into the Platte County Jail for a 24-hour hold.
