Man in Possession of Heroin and a Firearm in Platte County

A Kansas City man was arrested in Platte County in possession of heroin and a firearm.
The report from the Missouri Highway Patrol says 29-year-old Austin J. Black was arrested at 1:39 pm Monday.
Charges at the time of the arrest were felony possession of a controlled substance, heroin, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful possession of a firearm.
Black is in custody in Platte County for a 24-hour hold.
