Marceline Man Among Four Injured in Two Vehicle Accident in Ray County
A Marceline man was one of four people injured in a two-vehicle accident in Ray County.
According to a report from the Missouri Highway Patrol, 29-year-old Cody A. Laws from Bucklin, Missouri was driving north with 28-year-old Christian M. Hayes from Marceline.
When they crested a hill near the intersection of Route B and East 224th Street, they came upon 31-year-old Stephanie K. Peuker from Wetmore, Kansas making a U-turn with her passengers, 52-year-old Lorraine D. Bounds, and an unnamed three-year-old male.
Laws and Hayes crashed into the passenger side of Peuker’s Nissan, totaling both vehicles.
Everyone was wearing safety devices, four individuals involved suffered minor injuries. Christian Hayes was taken to Hedrick Medical Center by Ray County EMS, while all occupants of Peuker’s vehicle including the child were taken to Ray County Memorial by Ray County EMS.
