MDC Bringing Hunter Education Skills Sessions to Carrollton, Chillicothe, & Cameron

A trio of hunter education skills sessions are coming to Carrollton, Chillicothe, and Cameron in April.

The Missouri Department of Conservation will offer free upcoming hunter education skills sessions in Carrollton on April 11, Cameron on April 12, and Chillicothe on April 13.

The first event, in Carrollton, will take place at the Rupe Center from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.

The second event, in Cameron, will take place at the Cameron YMCA from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.

The final event, in Chillicothe, will take place at the Cornerstone Church Event Center from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.

These sessions will teach and test for safe firearms handling and basic hunting skills, and participants will earn the safety certificate needed to obtain hunting permits.

The skills sessions classes are for students ages 11 and older.
