MDC Notes Continued Presence Of EAB

The Missouri Department of Conservation reports a presence of the Emerald Ash Borer is now in 89 Missouri counties. Josh Roller is with the Missouri Department of Conservation.

Treatments can be done by the landowner if lower than a certain threshold. Otherwise, it should be done professionally.

The Department says an easy way to spread the infestation is driving firewood from infected areas to new locations. The Department says a good rule to follow is buying firewood where you plan to burn it.
