Missouri Department Of Conservation Considering Price Increase On Permits

The Missouri Department Of Conservation has not changed most of their permit fees cost in the past 20 years and is proposing adjusting prices of hunting, fishing, and trapping permits and other similar products.

Some of the possible changes you could see, are hunting and fishing permits for resident and non residents, the cost of daily trout tags and annual permits, lifetime and commercial permits, and MDC Permit Cards.

The department will seek comments from the public in regards to its proposed permit price adjustments starting July 4 through Aug. 2.

They stated that the comments they received during the period will be included in the final Orders of Rulemaking and Published in the Missouri Register.
