Missouri House Approves Bill Expanding Funding Availability For Future Veterinarians

The Missouri House has approved a bill which is intended to increase the availability for potential veterinarians. The bill expands the sources of funding for the Veterinary Student Loan Payment Fund and increases the numbers of qualified applicants. Missouri 2nd District Representative Mazzie Boyd.

The bill also allows the loan amount each student may receive to be increased from $20,000 to $30,000 for each academic year and from $80,000 to $120,000 in total.
