Missouri Revenue Declines Slightly From Last Year

The Missouri State Budget Director announced a decline in general revenue collections when compared to one-year ago levels.

State Budget Director Dan Haug announced that the net general revenue collections were $1 billion this year and $1.01 billion last year.

Net general revenue collections for 2024 fiscal year-to-date decreased 2.2 percent compared to November 2022, from $5.15 billion last year to $5.04 billion this year.

Individual income tax collections were down 8.2 for the year and down 4.3 percent for the month.

Sales and use tax collections were up 12.8 percent for the year and up 5.9 percent for the month

Corporate income and corporate franchise tax collections were up 5 percent for the year.
