Missouri Senate President says this session will almost be a clean slate

(MISSOURINET) – Just after the first of the year- a new Missouri Legislature will convene.
Boone County Republican Caleb Rowden will be leading the Senate as President Pro Tem
One of the issues he wants to resurrect is legalizing sports betting in Missouri.
There will be seven new Republican Senators as Republicans will hold a 24-10 majority in the chamber. New Senate President, Caleb Rowden of Boone County says there are some issues he wants to address in the new session.
The new Senate will not have an organized “conservative caucus” -since it disbanded at the end of the 2022 session. It was the source of infighting among the chamber’s Republicans.
