Mosaic in Northwest Missouri’s St. Joseph Plans a Free Vaccination Clinic Thursday During Chiefs Camp; Fans to Have Opportunity to Meet Players

A hospital system in northwest Missouri’s St. Joseph hopes the popularity of the Chiefs will lead more Buchanan County residents to get vaccinated against COVID.

Mosaic Life Care is using a different type of incentive to draw local residents to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

Mosaic, along with Missouri Western State University and the Kansas City Chiefs, will be hosting a coronavirus vaccination clinic during Chiefs Training Camp.

Mosaic Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Davin Turner, says those getting the shot will get to meet Chiefs players.

St. Joseph health officials report Buchanan County has a near 15-percent positivity rate with only 20-percent of the population fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
