A scrub seal project across multiple counties in northwest Missouri will begin next week.

Contractors from the Vance Brothers, Inc., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, will seal ten routes beginning Monday, May 1.

Crews will first seal Missouri Route 118 in Holt County from Route 59 to Route 111.

On May 3, crews will move to U.S. Route 136 in Atchison County from Route O to Route YY.

On May 5, crews will seal Route EE in Nodaway County from Route NN to Route 46.

On May 10, crews will move to U.S. Route 169 in Gentry/Worth counties from U.S. Route 136 in Gentry County to Route 46 in Worth County.

On May 17, crews will begin the penultimate phase on Route 46 in Worth/Harrison counties from U.S. Route 69 in Harrison County to U.S. Route 169 in Worth County.

On May 25, crews will start the final phase on Route N in Harrison/Mercer counties from Route B in Mercer County to Route B in Harrison County.

During construction, crews will close a single lane of traffic, and flaggers will direct motorists through the work zone.

A 10-foot width restriction will be in place.

The remaining four routes will begin in September and October.

The tentative completion for the project is November.

All work is weather permitting and is subject to change.
