Multiple Accidents Reported in the Area on Sunday

ST. JOSEPH, MO – The Missouri State Highway Patrol worked several accidents on Sunday. Reports say 47-year-old Worth resident Lenny Roush sustained minor injuries in Worth County when the trailer he was pulling with a UTV fell onto its side on 220th Road.

In a separate accident, a South Dakota driver, 25-year-old Fort Thompson, South Dakota resident Talon M. Yellowtail, escaped injury when her vehicle went off I-35 north of Bethany around 4 am. Her car struck an embankment and came to rest off the roadway.

Following the crash, troopers arrested Yellowtail on preliminary charges of driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving resulting in an accident.

Authorities booked Yellowtail into the Harrison County Law Enforcement Center on no bond.

An accident near Barnard injured 65-year-old Randy Jackson of Barnard he sustained moderate injuries when he lost control of his motorcycle due to grass in the roadway.

A Clinton County accident injured a Lathrop teen and 25-year-old Ashley Stayton of Plattsburg.

Finally, an accident north of Pattonsburg Sunday night resulted in injuries to Cameron residents 20-year-old Jordan Taylor and 25-year-old Kenzi Doll as their vehicle was struck and they were pulled over attempting to repair a tire on their car.
