NCMC Holding Capital Campaign Kickoff Event

The NCMC Foundation will begin a capital campaign next week at the Geyer Hall of North Central Missouri College in Trenton.

The Transforming Lives, Empowering People major gifts campaign will be begin on Wednesday, May 10th. The event will begin at 4:30pm.

The campaign has a goal of $9.9 million dollars and will focus on three initiatives. The biggest initiative is the creation of a new $6.5 million student center on the Trenton campus. $250,000 will be used for technology and equipment. $2.5 million will be used to complete the Savannah campus to expand career, technology, nursing, and allied health programs.

$100,000 will be added for scholarships for first generation students. $100,000 will be used for mid-career scholarships. $200,000 will go towards health care scholarships.

The Student Center floor plan and rendering will be shared with the public, as well as the announcement of the naming of the Student Center. The Student Center will be located south of Geyer Hall with construction planned to begin this fall with the anticipated completion by summer 2025. The new student center will include the bookstore, dining services, a lounge/recreation area for students, and a meeting room.

The kick-off will include live entertainment, give-a-ways, walking tours, and an appearance by Cap’n Patch the Pirate. A similar event is scheduled for May 18th at the Savannah Campus.
