NWMO State Fair Begins With Free Family Admission Night

The 104th Annual Northwest Missouri State Fair begins its first of 5 days on Thursday night with the Free Family Admission Night. Ashton Vandivert with the Northwest Missouri State Fair Board says there remained interest on the part of exhibitors and vendors to come back this year after the fair was forced to cancel the annual event last year.

The Thursday night tradition has been to waive the gate admission to the fairgrounds. That will be the case again this year. The Pettijohn’s Auto Center Family Entertainment Pavilion will host the baby and Little Mister and Miss Shows

The 17th annual Northwest Missouri State Fair Parade begins at the Bethany Community Gym at 6pm, runs downtown, and out to the fairgrounds. The registration begins at 5pm.

A concert will be presented Thursday evening at the grandstand. “Missouri” will perform at the grandstand at 8pm. With the fairgrounds’ admission is being waived, there will be a 10 dollar cost of admission to attend the concert.
