Pattonsburg Teenager Injured In Pickup Accident

A Pattonsburg 17 year old was injured following a pickup accident early Tuesday evening east of Pattonsburg.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the 17-year-old female driver was heading westbound on Elmwood Road, 2 miles east of Pattonsburg, and lost control of the pickup and went off the side of the roadway. The vehicle hitch a ditch and overturned. The driver had minor injuries from the accident and was taken to a Cameron hospital. The pickup received extensive damage.
The accident took place just after 5pm Tuesday evening. The Daviess County Sheriff’s Department and the Pattonsburg Fire Department assisted the Highway Patrol.
