Pesticide Collection Event Coming to Chillicothe in Late Spring

A free waste pesticide collection event is coming in late spring to the Chillicothe area.
The Missouri Department of Natural Resources will host the event Saturday, June 11, at the Litton Ag Center in Chillicothe.
The event runs from 8:00 a.m. to noon.
Pesticides will be accepted, including fertilizers containing pesticides, de-wormers, and fly tags.
Prohibited items include paint, explosives, fire extinguishers, yard waste, electronics, trash, or pesticides from businesses, distributors, or facilities.
