Princeton School Board Approves 2021-22 Budget

Princeton School Board members closed out their fiscal year with actions taken during a meeting on Tuesday night.

Princeton’s School District ended their 2020-21 fiscal year with a surplus of just over $110,000. That was against a $5.2 million budget.

The new budget projects revenues at $5.1 million and expenditures at $4.96 million. The new budget will include a base increase in Princeton’s Certified Staff Salary Schedule of $500 to $31,500. The Non-Certified Salary Schedule will be increased on their Step One to $12.25 per hour. Administrators will receive a raise of 1.61 percent. Bus driver pay will also increase by 1.61 percent to $63 per day. The pay will be $12.25 for activity trips.

Princeton’s board also accepted resignations from Christy Stockman as Secretary to the Superintendent and Betsy McCulley as Girls Assistant Basketball Coach.
