Resolution Being Considered For Medicaid Expansion Changes For Public Vote

A joint resolution has been approved by the Missouri House that would attempt to send before voters some changes regarding a medicaid expansion measure approved by Missouri voters. Missouri 2nd District Representative J Eggleston says the resolution would attempt to resolve 3 items in particular. One would be the a separation of the regular medicaid population and the population covered by the expansion.

Another item would eliminate the payment of medicaid bills for other states.

The other change would be the implementation of work requirements.

If approved by the Missouri Senate, the resolution would go before the voters in either August or November.
