Richmond Teen Injured in Ray County Crash Wednesday

A Richmond teen suffered injuries in a Ray County crash Wednesday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred around 3:12 Wednesday afternoon at 38198 West 124th Street as a vehicle driven by a 16-year-old male Richmond teen drove westbound.

Troopers say the teen began to skid and hit a ditch.

The teen suffered moderate injuries and sought treatment at Ray County Memorial Hospital.

Authorities say the teen was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
