Savannah teen Hurt in Rollover Accident

A Savannah teen was left with minor injuries Sunday morning after a one-vehicle rollover accident.

The Highway Patrol says a 17 year old Savannah male was driving a 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser southbound on Business Highway 71 about three miles south of Savannah when the vehicle went off the west side of the roadway. The vehicle then began to slide before coming back onto the roadway, traveling into the median and overturning.

The car eventually came to rest on its drivers side facing north in the northbound passing lane of Business 71.

That driver was reportedly wearing a seat belt at the time, but still suffered minor injuries and was taken by private vehicle to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph for treatment.
