Savannah Teen Injured in Andrew County Crash

A Savannah teen suffered serious injuries in an early Saturday crash in Andrew County. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the accident occurred during the 3 o’clock hour Saturday morning, about a mile east of Rosendale, as 19-year-old Blaydan R. Basler drove a 2014 GMC Sierra eastbound.

Troopers report that Basler failed to negotiate a curve, went off the roadway, and struck an embankment.

After that, his vehicle went airborne over County Road 177 and came to a rest on its wheels. 

Basler was taken to Mosaic in St. Joseph by a private vehicle.

According to the crash report, he was not wearing his seatbelt.
