Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft Visiting Local Counties Today

Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft will make several stops in Northwest Missouri today.
Ashcroft will meet with sheriffs in DeKalb, Gentry and Worth counties, before visiting Prosecuting Attorney Brandi McClain in Clinton County.
The secretary makes it a priority, every year, to personally visit each county in the state. “A big part of my job is talking with Missourians, from county and law enforcement officials, to business owners, to students – about ways we can make the state even better,” said Ashcroft. “Missouri is a great place to live, work and raise a family.”
He plans to start in Worth County at 11 A.M., then be in Gentry County at Noon, then stopping in Dekalb at 2 P.M., then finishing his trip in Clinton County at 3 P.M. today.
