Senate Conservative Caucus Leader Optimistic Missouri Lawmakers Will Approve FRA by Next Wednesday

A leading member of Missouri’s Senate Conservative Caucus is hopeful that lawmakers will approve an extension of a key funding mechanism for Medicaid by Wednesday, which is the end of the state’s fiscal year. Warrensburg GOP State Senator Denny Hoskins tells Missourinet that pro-life language must be included in the final bill or bills:

The governor wants lawmakers to prohibit what he calls abortifacient drugs and devices. Governor Parson has also warned that failure to extend the FRA would cost Missouri 591-million dollars in fiscal year 2022. FRA is the state’s Federal Reimbursement Allowance.
