Small Plane Wrecks On Take Off At Rosecrans Sunday

A small single-engine private plane wrecked while trying to take off at Rosecrans Airport in St. Joseph Sunday.
Authorities say at about 12:15 Sunday afternoon an airplane departed the taxi surface and proceeded to crash into a fence at the airport
The pilot of that plane, who has not yet been identified, was injured and taken from the scene via ambulance.
The pilot was reportedly the only person on board at the time of the accident.
