Smithville Man Arrested on Warrant & Driving Charge in Buchanan County

Troopers report the arrest of a Smithville man on a warrant and driving charge this morning in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the arrest of 38-year-old Jesus Garcia on a preliminary charge of speeding.
Authorities say Garcia also had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant from the Andrew County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on an original charge of careless and imprudent driving.
Troopers booked Garcia into the Andrew County Sheriff’s Office to await bond.
