St. Joseph Pair Arrested in Buchanan County on Multiple Charges

A pair of 33-year-old Saint Joseph residents were arrested Tuesday night in Buchanan County on multiple charges.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the arrests occurred at 8:05 and 8:08 p.m. of Lapaul D. Young and Charlie S. Wilson, respectively.

Young faces preliminary charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of synthetic K2, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Troopers say Young also had an outstanding felony probation and parole warrant from Maryville.

He was taken to the Buchanan County Jail to be held without bond.

Wilson faces preliminary charges of felony possession of a controlled substance and not wearing a seat belt.

Wilson was taken to the Buchanan County Jail and booked on a 24-hour hold.
