Tarkio Woman Overturns Car in Wednesday Crash

A Tarkio woman was injured in a Wednesday afternoon crash in Atchison County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on 205th Street, in the south city limits of Tarkio, when a vehicle driven by 38-year old Bobby W. Chaney of Tarkio was headed westbound.  The vehicle began to slide, went off the south side of the street, and overturned.

A passenger, 70-year old Anna M. Jackson suffered minor injuries and was taken to Fairfax Community Hospital for treatment.

Troopers say Jackson was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
