Three Injured in Buchanan County Accident Saturday Night

BUCHANAN COUNTY, MO – An accident Saturday night in Buchanan sent three to the hospital.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident took place on US 59 Highway around 8:40 pm as a vehicle operated by 46- year old Clinton Pine of Platte City was broken down in the middle of the road. 57-year-old Judith Williams of Atchison, KS impacted the broken-down vehicle, which began sliding clockwise. Pine and a 13-year-old46-year-old occupant of his vehicle were outside of the vehicle at the time of the crash, however, the impact forced the vehicle into them.
Pine suffered serious injuries. The 13-year-old male had minor injuries and Williams suffered moderate injuries. All three were taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph.
