Tire Blow Out Causes Dump Truck Accident

A Unionville dump truck driver was injured following an accident caused by a tire blow out in Schuyler County Friday afternoon.
The Highway Patrol reports 27 year old Dayton Hyle of Unionville was driving a dump truck on Highway 136 in Schuyler County, 3 miles southwest of Lancaster, when the blow out occured. The dump truck then skidded off the roadway, struck an embankment, and overturned.
The driver was taken to the a Kirksville hospital with moderate injuries. The dump truck was totaled.
The accident took place just after 3pm Friday afternoon.
