Trenton Resident Injured in Deer-Involved Crash Tuesday

A Trenton resident suffered injuries in a deer-involved accident around 6:15 Tuesday morning in Daviess County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred on U.S. 69 Highway, two miles east of Winston, as a vehicle driven by 70-year-old Chillicothe resident Mark A. Englert drove westbound.

Troopers say Englert struck a deer as it crossed the roadway.

A passenger in the caravan, 80-year-old Trenton resident Mary Griffon, suffered minor injuries and sought treatment at Cameron Regional.

Authorities listed no injuries for Englert.
