Trimble Man Injured in Clay County Motorcycle Crash Sunday Evening

A Trimble man suffered injuries in a Clay County crash Sunday evening.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 6:00 Sunday night on Highway 169 at Highway 92, as 36-year-old Samuel Deford drove a motorcycle southbound.
Troopers say a northbound vehicle started to turn and failed to yield to Deford.
The two vehicles collided and ejected Deford in the process.
Deford suffered serious injuries and sought treatment at North Kansas City Hospital.
Authorities say Deford did wear proper safety gear at the time of the crash.
