Two Injured in Three-Vehicle Crash in Platte County

A three-vehicle crash in Platte County resulted in two injuries Thursday.
The crash occurred at 9:03 am according to a report from the Missouri Highway Patrol.
As 42-year-old Candice L. Patton of St. Joseph was driving on I-29 north of MO-92 Highway, she slowed down for road construction.
She was overtaken and struck by a vehicle driven by 74-year-old Ronald M. Estes of Atchison, sending her vehicle into the rear of a vehicle driven by 38-year-old Siriwan Somnuek of Lenexa.
Somnuek and Patton both suffered minor injuries and were taken to St. Lukes Hospital on Barry Road.
