Two Kansas City Teens Injured in Nodaway County Crash Saturday

Two Kansas City, Missouri, teens suffered injuries in a Nodaway County crash Saturday evening.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 5:00 Saturday night on U.S. 71, a mile south of Clearmont, as 18-year-old Rachel E. Galloway drove southbound.

Troopers say Galloway went off the east side of the road, struck multiple embankments, and came to a rest in a cornfield.

Galloway suffered minor injuries.

A passenger, a 17-year-old male, suffered moderate injuries.

Both sought treatment at Mosaic.

Authorities say only Galloway wore a seat belt at the time of the crash.
