Two Milan residents Left With Minor Injuries in One vehicle Crash

A pair of Milan residents were left with minor injuries in a one-vehicle crash Wednesday morning on Missouri Route 6.

Troop B of the Highway Patrol says 47-year-old Milan resident Angela R. Laro was driving a 2007 Chevy Impala on Highway 6 about one mile east of Milan at 7:32 A.M. Wednesday when the vehicle went off road in an effort to avoid a collision with an on-coming vehicle. Once off road the Impala struck a guardrail.

Laro and her passenger, 65-year-old Milan resident Carl D. McKinsey, were both wearing seat belts at the time of the accident but still suffered minor injuries. They were both taken by private vehicle to Sullivan County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
