Two Missouri House Republicans Clash Over Coronavirus Vaccination Incentives

Lake St. Louis State Representative Justin Hill posted criticism on Facebook about Missouri State University in southwest Missouri’s Springfield offering incentives to students who get vaccinated. Hill says discounting tuition for vaccinated students disgusts him to no end. On the House floor, Ballwin State Representative Shamed (sha-MED) Dogan (DOE-gun) – a fellow Republican – says unlike what Hill says, there have been vaccination trials.

Missouri State is offering a wide variety of weekly prizes, including laptops, a textbook refund, gaming systems, and iPads. A grand prize is also being offered – free tuition, fees, housing, meals, books, supplies, and a designated parking spot for one academic year.
