Two Seriously Injured In Trash Truck Accident Near Brimson

Two were seriously injured following a trash truck accident in Grundy County on Wednesday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 71 year old Preston Ramsey of Trenton was driving southbound on Route CC in Grundy County when the vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign, crossed Highway 146, and went off the south side of the intersection. The Freightliner trash truck overturned and landed on its side. The driver and 34 year old Caleb Hudson of Spickard were both seriously injured in the accident. Hudson was flown to St Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City. Ramsey was flown to Truman Medical Center.

The accident took place just after 2pm Wednesday. The Trenton Fire Department assisted the Highway Patrol.
