Young Child Killed in Andrew County After Being Struck by Vehicle

COSBY, MO – A young child was killed Thursday evening after being hit by a vehicle in a driveway in rural Andrew County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the 3-year old boy from Cosby was in front of the passenger side of a pickup that was in a private drive two miles east of Cosby when he was struck.

The child was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph where he was pronounced dead.
