Chillicothe opened the scoring with a two run 4th inning and held that lead until Carroll put up one in the 6th and then plated a pair in the 7th for a walk-off win.

The Merchants kept their offensive momentum going in game two scoring twice in the 1st and three times in the 2nd to grab a quick 5-0 lead. They added three more in the 4th and one in the 5th. Chillicothe was able to push across three runs in the 6th but would never get closer.
KC Monarchs 6 St. Joseph Mustangs 3
St. Joe started the night hot with a two run bottom of the 1st, but would not score again until the 8th inning. In between the Monarchs put across one run in the 4th and a big four run frame in the 5th to claim the lead. They added an insurance run in the 9th.
Jefferson City Renegades 16 Nevada Griffons 6 -8 innings
The Renegades scored in each of the fist five innings including a five run 2nd and three run 4th. Nevada put up a fight with a two run 3rd and three run 4th but still found themselves down 11-5 after the onslaught. The Griffons got another run in the 7th to inch closer but Jeff City responded with a five run top of the 8th to push the lead to the 10-run margin.
Joplin Outlaws 7 Clarinda A’s 5
Clarinda took early control scoring once in the 2nd, once in the 3rd and three times in the 4th to build a 5-0 lead. Joplin’s comeback began in the bottom of the 4th when they scored their first run. The Outlaws would plate two runs in each of the next three innings to claim the lead and the win.

Des Monies put up single runs in the 3rd, 4th, and 6th innings

Sedalia jumped out to a 2-0 lead with a pair of runs in the 2nd. Des Moines fought back with single runs in the 3rd and 4th to tie the game. Sedalia took full control with back to back three run frames in the 5th and 6th innings.
