Savannah’s Charlie Phillips Collects 4 Medals and Hearts of the World At Special Olympics
Savannah’s Charlie Phillips is going viral for his performance at the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023.
The power-lifter with an infectious personality has captured hearts around the world through social media posts during his time in Berlin, Germany, and has officially captured four medals at the games, three silver and one bronze.
Phillips competed in the men’s squat, men’s deadlift, men’s bench press and men’s all-around competition.

Men’s Squat: Silver Medal – 162.5 kg | 358.25 lbs
Men’s Bench Press: Silver Medal – 115 kg | 253.5 lbs
Men’s Deadlift: Bronze Medal – 197.5 kg | 435.5 lbs

The 26-year-old grew up in central Pennsylvania and started competing at the Special Olympics in 2010. In 2018 his family moved to Missouri.
