Adam Michel Vickers

Adam Michael Vickers – age 44 of Columbia, MO and formerly of the Kansas City area passed away Wednesday morning, April 19, 2023 in Moberly, MO. Adam was born on December 13, 1978, the son of David Vickers and Terri Clark in Kansas City, MO. He attended school in Raymore and grew up in the Raymore and Belton area. Adam had a huge heart, evidenced by his loving and giving nature.  He was a humble and genuine man who had a positive impact on people. Adam was an influential leader.    The happiest day of his life was when he got to be a father to Colton, Brenton and Braxton. Adam enjoyed fishing, old cars, and Harley Davidson motorcycles. He was a true outdoorsman. Most of all he loved being a papa.  Adam will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Adam was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, maternal grandfather and his uncle, Tom Clark. He is survived by his parents,  David Vickers of Raymore, MO, and Terri Hillman of Bolivar, MO; brother, Aaron Vickers of Mesa, AZ; his children, Colton Franklin of Olathe, KS, Brenton Tate (Kylee) of Lathrop, MO, and Braxton Franklin of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Troyer, Timber and Tucker; other extended family and friends also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Healing House in care of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM, Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Stith Funeral Home in Lathrop.  The family will receive friends one-hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
