at a Mt. Ayr, Iowa nursing home.
He was born March 11, 1935 in Webster City, Iowa the son of Basil, Sr. and Emma (Urich)
Graham.
On September 23, 1966, he married Shirley Graves in Dakota City, Nebraska. She survives of
the home.
Basil retired from the United States Navy after 19 years of service from 1952 – 1971. He
then worked at farming.
He was preceded in death his parents and brothers, Donald and Earl Graham.
Survivors in addition to his wife of 52 years, Shirley, are his children, Scott (Julie) Graham,

Diana (Tony) Dominguez, Tucson, AZ; grandchildren, Kaden & Carter Graham, Mercer, MO,
Avery (Levi) Alden, Gallatin, MO, Mitch Ragan, Kansas City, MO, Travis (Rose) Korleski of Iowa,
Allyson (Kevin) Been, Fort Dodge, IA, Richard (Jayde) Korleski, Des Moines, IA, Kaitlyn Korleski,
Klemme, IA, Lisa (Doug) Blake, Breckenridge, CO, Chris Pogue, Breckenridge, CO, Jason Blake,
Kirksville, MO, Melissa (Thomas) Gruver of Texas and Wesley James of California; 11 great-
grandchildren; brothers, Otho Graham, Trenton, MO and Raymond Graham, Mercer, MO and
sister, Helen Picaman, Princeton, MO.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 28, at Roberson Funeral
Home, Princeton, MO. Burial will follow in the Early Cemetery, Mercer, MO. The family will
receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to
the Basil Graham Memorial Fund for the NMCB58 Hospitality Room in care of Roberson Funeral
