Curtis Alan Ross

Curtis Alan Ross, 69, of Kearney, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Estoria Rehabilitation and Recovery Center in Liberty.

Curtis was born on December 26, 1953, in Lexington, the son of William Lee “Bill” and Mary Virginia (Williams) Ross. He was united in marriage to Michelle D. Mansell of Orrick on August 31, 1973; she survives of the home.

Additional survivors include: son, Brian (Annie) Ross of Kansas City; daughter, Jamie (John) Luppes of Liberty; granddaughter, Carlee Luppes; and sister-in-law, Barbara Ross of Richmond.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, David “Dave” Lee Ross.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Cancer Center at University of Kansas Hospital. They can be left at or mailed to Thurman Funeral Home, 507 East Main Street-P.O. Box 190, Richmond, MO 64085.

Visitation with Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond, with visitation beginning at 1:00 P.M., with services to follow at 2:00 P.M.
