Debra “Debbie” Mae King

Debra “Debbie” Mae King – age 65 of Jamesport, MO passed away Monday morning, December 18, 2023, at Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton, MO. Debbie was born on February 22, 1958, the daughter of Robert and Emma (Dunn) King in Jamesport, MO. Debbie graduated in 1977 from Jamesport High School. Debbie worked as a waitress. She was a member of Jamesport Baptist Church. Debbie enjoyed the outdoors, along with crocheting. She was a big fan of Elvis and loved listening to his music. Debbie never met a stranger; she was a friend to all and very outgoing. She loved all her family, especially her grandchildren. Debbie will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Ronald King, Reda King, Betty Benge, and Robert King; sister-in-law, Cindy King and nephews, Charlie Benge and Byron King. She is survived by her children, Mike King (Kelly McClure) of Trenton, MO, Jamie King (Jessica) of Jamesport, MO, and Emmy King of Jamesport, MO; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Wayne King (Joy) of Columbia, MO, Marilyn Tolen of Gladstone, MO, Jim King of Chillicothe, MO, Jerry King of Jamesport, MO, Carol Burrell of St. Joseph, MO, and Steven King (Janelle) of Jamesport, MO; aunt, Velma Maddox of Gallatin, MO; nieces, nephews, friends and other extended family members also survive.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Stith Funeral Home for final expenses. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 22, 2023, at Stith Funeral Home in Gallatin, MO. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Bethany, MO. Friends may call after 9 AM, Friday at the funeral home.
